This family was so cute... I always say that every family has a jester, before a word was spoken between us I already knew who the Templeton jester was (hint ~ she is shorter than everyone else!)  As a mom of 3 girls I am always drawn to the dynamics of sisters.  These girls were beautiful and sweet, and of course a little silly.  Dad for sure is outnumbered... but as pretty as the girls are that surround him  I doubt he minds it one bit.  Templetons ~ loved meeting you guys!

Fall is my favorite time of year to photograph, the colors outside are amazing.  Love family pictures in this season.  The only thing that is hard for me is NOT posting pictures, LOL!  Since most families are giving the gift of photos or using images for photo Christmas cards oftentimes I do not post family pictures so that the element of surprise is there.

This is exactly the reason why you will not see an image of the Thaxton Family as a whole ~ just little teasers, but it is obvious from these handful of images how much these four love one another.  The kids have a wonderful bond; they were fun and silly the entire session.  And there was no hesitation when I wanted to do pictures of the two of them together ~ they were all for it!

Thaxton Family, you guys are beautiful.  It was a pleasure meeting and photographing you guys!

I had the pleasure of meeting this sweet family earlier this year... and so happy to get the opportunity to photograph them again.  Kelly is a lucky guy ~ he's got two pretty ladies that belong to him.  Ava is such a cutie pie, and her momma is beautiful.  And obviously the camera loves all three of them :)

Gotta love a family who can change plans on a dime ~ the forecast the entire week leading up to their session said rain.  Woke up that day and no rain, but it looked threatening all morning.... so we decided to move the time up and try our luck.  In the end it rained on us, and the wind was crazy!  We had to shoot at two different locations to escape the elements, really!

But will you get a look at these three... gorgeous.  They looked great from start to finish.  Looking at these images I am sure you are wondering what rain?!?  Noah, Chelsey & little Noah ~ it was an eventful afternoon... and funny!  You guys rock!

LOVE these five...  This lucky guy is my brother, who apparently must've done something right - just  look at all the beauties that surround him!  Matthew and I have always been close, he was the "Man of Honor" at my wedding (which after this photo session we told his girls about over lunch ~ and they thought it was hysterical!)  And Amanda ~ I just love her.

Matthew and I have been blessed to have met and married our spouses.  We do spend alot of time together, and we are all very close.  Which is a good thing, because we are also neighbors.  No really, they live right next door!  Our girls are growing up together and there is something really special about that.  I am proud to call these guys my family, and lucky to have them in my life.  I love you guys!

I met the Chad & Keri when doing their maternity pictures.  They came out to my house and when we were finished with the "work" they stayed awhile and visited with me and my husband.  We hit it off, and have been friends ever since.  My favorite thing about the Howards... hmm... might be this handsome little devil of theirs!

Sam is one of the happiest little boys I've seen.  Always smiling, really!  And as if it needed to be said, his parents ADORE him.  He's totally onto them too... he flashes that smile and the next thing you know he is being hugged and kissed.  I am so grateful that good fortune led Chad & Keri to me :)

I will freely admit that I am totally biased... these four are near and dear to my heart.  You've heard the saying that friends are family we choose for ourselves ~ well the McQuiston family are that to me and my family.

Love is one of those things that always come through in pictures.  It's not hard to see that this family are in love with one another, and the smiles on their faces are there because of that.  They truly enjoy just being together.

I say it every time I do an extended family session ~ LOVE these.  The Colvin family is no exception... they just happened to all be in Texas for the weekend to celebrate an upcoming wedding, and would not be together again until the wedding in December.  Wouldn't you know it rained the day of their session?!?  But these guys would not let it rain on their parade ~ instead we all made the trek over to the Stockyards and were able to keep our date.

The Colvins are full of love for one another.  It was my sincere pleasure meeting them and spending an afternoon with them helping to capture a moment of their life.

Parenthood is bittersweet... it is so wonderful to watch your kids grow, to learn and achieve successes.  To branch out on their own and really discover who they are and what they want.  But with each new day, they are one day closer to becoming independent, moving away from us and into their own lives. 

I have been truly blessed with three beautiful girls.  And I can say honestly that they more beautiful inside than they are on the outside.  They are kind, respectful, intelligent, compassionate... They are my greatest accomplishment.  And they could not be more adored ~ my husband and I love them beyond measure.  The thing I love most about my girls... I am guaranteed many laughs each and every day, lots of hugs and kisses, and more love than I ever thought possible.  These three (along with their Daddy) are the loves of my life.

Okay ~ this is the little sister to the cowboy in the previous post.  She is ADORABLE!  She has the biggest smile (mouth wide open) that I have ever seen.  LOVE IT!  She was teeny tiny when I first photographed her... and she still is little, but she has personality to spare.  She was so great throughout her entire session, she smiled and smiled and smiled... what more could you ask for... I mean I almost forgot I was working!

This little buckaroo is about as cute as they get.  I think that my favorite thing about Mason is that when he laughs ~ that good hard belly laugh ~ even his eyes seem to be laughing.  He is a sweet boy, and fun-loving.  Possibly a little mischievous (he is my youngest daughter's buddy, so he has to be!)

I love it when we can incorporate personal items into a session.  He is wearing chaps and a vest that were his Daddy's when he was a youngster!  How cool is that?  Mason you are one cool cowboy!

Okay, I have to admit that I am totally bias regarding this family.  I love these four;  Rivers is a dear friend of mine.  Having said that... are these guys not beautiful?!?  I love the picture of Rivers and her daughter, such a sweet moment.  I am grateful to have you guys in my life, in my own family's lives.

I have known this little guy for his entire life... granted he just turned "1" ~ but, that is beside the point!
I met his family when they were awaiting his arrival, and have since gotten to photograph them several times.  And trust me,  they are ALL gorgeous!  Sullivan is a happy little guy, and has the best grin ever.   Happy Birthday Sully, I feel blessed to be a part of your first year.
