griffith | weatherford, tx photographer

Any parent knows that young kiddos have lots and lots of energy - lots more than mom & dad!  The Griffith brothers are no exception to that rule... but you have energy x 3!!!  These boys really were awesome though, and pretty funny too.  I think I have just as many fun pictures from their session (you know the silly/candid stuff) as I do the "good pictures."  We ran races, we had sword (aka: weed) fights, we wrestled, and I think they had a secret plan to see who could get the most grass stains on their pants :)

I think I had a perma grin pretty much throughout the entire editing process.  Thanks boys for a fun evening ~ you guys did great!

BJ & Amber asked me to come out to their house to do their maternity session.  I LOVE going to clients' homes for sessions, something just so personal about them.  BJ & Amber were very warm and laid back.  They had their baby girl's room all ready and they were so CALM, no anxiety- no nothing!!!
It won't be long until she is here, and I am excited to meet their bundle of joy for newborn pics.

I met Ramon & Anna when they were brand new parents... Tres was a newborn baby and I went to take his newborn pictures.  Time sure does fly by, because 'lil man is now ONE!  He has grown so much, but his sweet little face has not changed.  His eyes get me every time too.

Thank you Guajardos for allowing me to share in this first year of life as a new family.  I can't believe it has been a year already!

streetman | weatherford, tx photographer

I love repeat clients ~ especially when they are as sweet as the Streetman family.

Lainey & Gracie are about as cute as they get, and they really are as adorable and sweet as they appear in these images!  Mom & Dad are pretty great too!  Thanks guys, for letting me capture moments of your precious family.

stroller strides | weatherford, tx photographer

Originally I met Rebecca when she booked a maternity session with me... in conversation I asked her what she did.  When she told me she was a fitness instructor and had this business called "Stroller Strides" I was totally intrigued.  What a concept!  Stroller Strides is a fitness program designed for parents with kids.  Just like the name says - bring those babies and their strollers and get ready to workout, get in shape and stay fit.

I've since been very fortunate to have become great friends with Rebecca.  When she asked if I would be interested in coming out to one day to photograph her class I jumped at the chance.  And let me tell you, Stroller Strides is no walk in the park.  These ladies are getting a real workout... and these ladies aren't wallflowers either ~ the women in Stroller Strides are some HOT MOMMAS!!!

Thanks ladies for taking me in for the day.  And Rebecca, thanks for the blessing you have been in my life.

bentley | weatherford, tx photographer

I ADORE this guy... and can not believe he is about to be another year older, he is getting so big!
Usually he is happy to see me, but the day of his session he pretty much just wanted his Mommy.  But after awhile (when it was HIS idea to take pictures) he turned on his charm, and gave me that great big smile I love so much!  Happy Birthday Bentley ~ I hope you get everything you wish for when you blow out those candles!!!

I was pretty excited when Renee got in touch with me asking about maternity pictures... I had not seen these guys since I did newborn pictures of their little one.  Since I am a mom of three daughters, and she has two daughters already ~ I think the very first thing I asked (after I of course jumped at the opportunity to do their maternity session) was are they having another girl?!?  And it seems that yes, they are in fact going to have a third daughter!

I love 2 things about this session: 1) we did them in their own back yard.  I love it when we can incorporate personal things into sessions, and what can be more personal than your home ~ the place you will be bringing your new baby home too?  A place where you share laughter and tears, where your babies will grow up.  And 2) that the Oetgens were happy to have plenty of pictures of just everyday life.  Kids in their wagon, on their bikes, and of course acting silly (my favorite!)  I had so many favorites it was hard to narrow down just a few for the blog post!
