When Justin's mom got in touch with me and asked if I might have anything available for just a handful of days that Justin would be home on leave ~ I told her I would MAKE time.  After all, we all owe our gratitude to him and every other member of the US military.  

Justin is not only a member of the USMC, but of a family.  And he has a pretty wonderful one at that.  It was an honor to be asked to do this session, and to meet the Napier Family.  God bless you Justin, and thank you for your service.

YES ~ I do birthday parties!!!  And LOVE to do them too :)

This is my 2nd year to be asked to share in and capture birthday memories for Mr. Keen.  He asked his Momma for a "Mustache Bash" this year, and boy did he get it.  This party was so much FUN!  And everywhere I looked there were kids smiling ear to ear... and the photo booth was a success too I would say :)  

Happy Birthday Keen ~ you are growing way to fast there little man.  Heather, you did a FANTASTIC job (as always) and your kiddo has a wonderful birthday memory thanks to all your hard work.

Don't you just love their sun kissed skin, freckles and missing teeth?!?  Even better was the love between these two (and ok, they were pretty fun to hang out with too!)  The first half of their session we did the normal photography kinda stuff... the second half we too lots of FUN pics out in the pool.  I love documenting a child's life doing what they love to do the most.  Those are the ones that are most special to me as a parent.  This session was the perfect end to summer... thanks for the fun evening guys.

Sooooo... Will here LOVES tractors.  Like, REALLY LOVES them.  And fortunately my parents have a "farm" complete with a big green John Deere tractor.  That is pretty much all we needed to plan this session.  And fortunately Abby is a doll and can look good in any setting!  I enjoyed this session in part because I am pretty fond of these two (and their parents) and because I can still see the expression on Will's face when he first saw the tractor - it was pure bliss!!!

One of my favorite little guys right here... I've literally known him his whole life, lol!
And as always, he is cute as a bug.  This was a fun session... I went out to his grandma's home (aka: Gee) and took pics of him playing with tractors, swimming, and hanging out with his cousins.  And there is no better way to capture a moment of time in your life than in the midst of doing what you love best.

One of the things that I absolutely love about this whole photography gig is getting to watch little ones grow up.  Case in point these two cuties ~ and really, could they be any cuter?!?  I can't believe how time flies.  Both Reese & Caroline are celebrating another year older.  So Happy Birthday sweet girls!!!

I love newborn sessions... love the baby smells and coos... love how precious these little gifts from God are...  I tell my newborn clients to cherish these days because they grow up in the blink of an eye.  Lucy is an absolute sweetheart.  She was so tiny, and so perfect... and so beautiful.
