I can't believe how much these kids have grown the past year... and I can't believe it has been a year already!  These four are a pretty darn good lookin' group, don't ya think?  (Even if I did have one who really did NOT want to smile, and put forth his best effort to keep a straight face!)  Loved seeing these guys again!

I met this adorable family just before Easter.  The Jones kiddos were signed up for the Spring minis with the Easter bunnies.  Both Mom & Dad were there to help and entertain the kiddos and they were such a cute FAMILY.  I knew right then that I wanted to photograph them as a family unit ~ and I got my wish!!!  Nothing I love better than turning a new client into a repeat client.  Thanks Jones' for spending a sunny summer morning with me.  You guys are such a sweet little family ~ can't wait to see you all in the Fall :)

The only thing sweeter than Tessa's first birthday cake is the birthday girl herself.  I loved everything about her ~ her 4 little toothies, her cute lil' pigtails, and her crooked little smile.  Can you say cuteness overload?!?  And, she's a girl after my own heart, she LOVES cake!!!

Luke is just about to start his Senior year at Aledo High School in a few weeks...   He is quiet, kinda shy, handsome and a baseball player for AHS.  I hope you have a great last year of high school Luke.  You soon will learn that time goes by way too fast!!!

When I booked this family session, I had no idea that I actually knew them (the daughter emailed me via her married name...) They are from my hometown, which is one of those towns where everyone knows everyone.  I also was unaware of just how much they had going on in their lives as a family.  Their story is theirs to tell, not mine, but I can tell you that I am inspired by their love and courage.

It was wonderful seeing you guys  Love and laughter always come through in photographs, and you guys have both in abundance ~ thanks for letting me share in that for the evening.

It took us awhile to get this session to come together... like months!!!  Originally scheduled for during the Fall we had to postpone due to sick kids, crazy schedules and the holidays.  And then we had to make a last minute change of location ~ what more could go wrong, lol!  But these guys didn't let it get to them, we finally met up and got their family pictures.  You gotta love a family that just rolls with the punches - not to mention having some of the cutest boys around.

Just love those cheeks... from the very first time I met Aiden when he was a hand full of days old, he has been the sweetest little guy.  And soooo quiet!!!  He just sits there and looks at me and gives me that big ole' smile he has.  I can not believe he is ONE ~ time flies by so fast.  Happy Birthday Aiden, it's been wonderful getting to share in this first year of your life with you!
